Rationale
Clinical experience as well as several references indicate non-porphyrinogenicity.
Chemical description
Penicillin derivative broadspectrum antibiotic for parenteral use. Metabolized to a slight extent to penicilloic acid but 79-92% of the dose is excreted unchanged.
