Rationale

Inorganic compound. Accumulates in bone tissue. Not metabolised. Two references consider it (probably) safe.

Chemical description

Aminophosphonate used in postmenopausal osteoporosis where it inhibits bone resorption. Selectively localized to resorption localities in the skeleton where it inhibits osteoclastic activity. Stored in bone tissue.
