Rationale
CYP-inducer. Probably porphyrinogenic in systemic use. Antiseptic varnish. Very slow release from denture, minimal systemic effect.
Chemical description
Antiseptic denture lacquer. Broad spectrum imidazole antimycotic, Metabolised by CYP3A4 and 2C9. CYP-inducer. The release from the denture is less than 50 mg/week, which will give rise to negligible systemic exposure.
